Paris, 13 May 2024 - Racine assisted the management of Groupe Gaïana, a leading European publisher of vertical software for the agri-food sector, in its sale by Meanings Capital Partners to Orisha, a European publisher of B2B software for professionals in various sectors.

Founded in 1987, Gaïana is a leader in the agri-food sector, offering a complete range of solutions from crop monitoring to regulatory management and traceability. Its turnover has more than doubled in less than five years to almost €40 million, thanks to strong organic growth and a strategy of acquisitions, including operations in France and abroad. Headquartered in Bordeaux, Gaïana employs more than 200 people, operates in a variety of sectors including wine and spirits, horticulture and beverage distribution, and has more than 20,000 users. After five years of financial and strategic support from Meanings Capital Partners, the sale to the Orisha Group will enable Gaïana to facilitate its international expansion by consolidating its presence in foreign markets. The transaction will strengthen Gaïana's position as a leading provider of software solutions for the agri-food sector in Europe. The sale is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2024.

Founded in 2003, Orisha is a European software company specialising in the retail, property, healthcare and construction sectors. By 2023, Orisha expects to generate revenues in excess of €200 million. Reorganised into Business Units, Orisha's ambition is to create a new Agrifood branch based on Gaïana, with the aim of accelerating Gaïana's international development and strengthening its position in the Agrifood software market.
