Introduction - 2025 Submission Process

Multilaw will host its third annual awards at the 2025 Global Business Meeting in New Delhi in September. Some categories require firms to nominate themselves, others do not require any nomination as outlined below. There are 7 categories of awards and 5 of these require you to submit a nomination by the closing date of Thursday 31 July using the button at the bottom of the page to complete your online submission. The ceremony will take place during the opening dinner at the ITC Maurya Hotel in New Delhi.

Categories

Best Referring Firms (2024-2025)

For the member firms with the most valuable contribution to outbound referrals over the past year. Winners will be chosen from each firm size category (0-20; 21-50; 51-100; 101-200; 200+). No submission required for this category. This award will be judged based on analysis of the information in the online referrals reporting system at the time of the end of year referrals report in September. (A great incentive to get your referrals reported accurately!).

Best Business Development Initiative (2024-2025)

To recognise member firms for the most ingenious and/or successful business development initiative devised and implemented during the previous twelve months. Initiatives that involve the network will be given high preference in the judging process.The judges may select the winner according to the following criteria: originality and ingenuity; involvement of other Multilaw firms; success of events; the number of people involved, and contribution by the firm. This award can be given jointly if an initiative has been driven by more than one firm. This category requires a submission from your firm.

Best Use of AI Innovation (2024-2025)

To recognise member firms for outstanding achievements in the application of artificial intelligence. Entries will be evaluated based on criteria which demonstrates creativity and effectiveness in leveraging AI to enhance areas such as legal services, improving client experiences, or driving operational efficiencies. Firms will be assessed on the innovation impact, originality, and measurable results.This category requires a submission from your firm.

Green Law Firm of the Year

For the member firm with the best environmentally-friendly policies and initiatives over the past year. Criteria to consider include staff engagement, impact on the firm’s carbon footprint, ingenuity, investment, awards, external recognition, accreditation and certification.  This category requires a submission from your firm.

Inclusion & Diversity Initiative of the Year

To recognise the member firm for the most innovative efforts to further diversity and equal opportunity both inside their firm and in the broader legal industry over the past twelve months. The judges will give priority to initiatives that employ imaginative and forward-thinking measures to produce a substantial impact in promoting diversity and serve as examples for others. This category requires a submission from your firm.

Multilaw Rising Star

To recognise a younger lawyer (under 40) in a member firm who has made a demonstrable contribution to the network over the last twelve months. Criteria to consider include referrals, business development, involvement in practice/sector/special interest group activities, events, Multilaw guides/content. This category requires a submission from your firm.

Multilaw Firm of the Year

The pinnacle award for the firm that has made the most outstanding contribution to the network across multiple areas. No submission required for this category.
