Nicole Taylor-Smith is a Partner in the Calgary office of Miller Thomson. Nicole has expertise in insolvency, financial restructuring, bankruptcy, security enforcement, debt recovery, creditor protection, negotiation of forbearance agreements and informal restructuring processes, asset purchases in insolvency proceedings and priority disputes. She is experienced in protecting the interests of banks, secured lenders, unsecured creditors, landlords, debtors, equipment lessees and other stakeholders in commercial restructurings, workouts, receiverships and proceedings under the Companies’ Creditor Arrangement Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
Nicole is also an experienced litigation lawyer, specializing in commercial litigation, contract disputes, commercial leasing disputes, guarantees, foreclosures, condominium law and liens.
