About Me
Alan Connell is a senior partner in the tax department at Philip Lee LLP. Alan was formerly the Managing Partner and Head of Tax at Eversheds Sutherland Ireland.
Alan is a leading lawyer with extensive experience in corporate tax law and has advised on some of the largest inward investment and restructuring projects in Ireland. He primarily advises international financial institutions and corporations (including Fortune 100 companies) doing business in and from Ireland and is standing tax counsel to numerous internationally focused organisations in respect of their Irish operations.
Alan practices all aspects of corporate tax with particular emphasis on, and expertise in, inward investment projects, cross border tax planning, corporate restructurings, public and private mergers and acquisitions, demergers, flotations, private equity, joint ventures, as well as transfer pricing. He also advises on Irish stamp duty matters, particularly in the context of global reorganisations.
