About Me
Prof. Dr. Eva Kohler is Special Counsel (cooperation partner) at Schalast in Düsseldorf. She is a full professor of criminal law and criminal procedure at the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration in North Rhine-Westphalia.
After working as a lawyer—specializing in criminal law and tax law—Prof. Kohler now defends clients as a university lecturer. A proven expert in commercial and criminal tax law, general tax law, and (tax) compliance, she handles criminal defense and ombudsman activities as well as mandates in administrative court proceedings. In addition, she regularly provides expert opinions, reports, and lectures, as well as internal knowledge management and back-up support.
Prof. Kohler has extensive practical experience (in defense), particularly in complex proceedings and other types of proceedings. She focuses on combining practical science and teaching with a precise and well-founded approach to difficult and challenging practical issues.
This also applies to her role as an ombudswoman, e.g., for a well-known corporation in North Rhine-Westphalia and other institutions.
