About Me
Dirk is a representative for Pacific Legal Network, the leading provider of legal services in the Pacific.

The Pacific Legal Network is a practice group of Macpherson Kelley and is run out of Macpherson Kelley’s Sydney office. As well as legal services, the team provide project management and marketing services for the network, coordinating complex legal projects for clients operating in the Pacific region.

Dirk’s areas of commercial law expertise span across a number of areas of practice including banking and finance, telecommunications/ICT, environmental and climate change law and construction. Having lived and worked in the Pacific for a number of years, Dirk has an in-depth knowledge of the intricate workings of both public and private sectors operate across multiple Pacific jurisdictions. He also speaks Solomon Islands pijin and has spent a significant amount of time in the Solomon Islands as an environmental law volunteer. His sound legal knowledge is also supplemented by a strong understanding of the types of local and cultural issues which can have an impact on the delivery of projects across the Pacific region.

Having experience negotiating, and advising for, both domestic and international companies, government bodies and foreign aid institutions as well as national regulatory bodies across numerous Pacific jurisdictions, Dirk has a wealth of experience assisting with the delivery of large scale infrastructure projects and legal reforms across the Pacific region.
