About Me
Darshendev Singh is a Senior Associate at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill. Darshendev’s primary area of practice is commercial dispute resolution. He advises and acts for clients on disputes relating to, among others, construction, engineering, natural resources, energy and catastrophic incidents.

He has worked on construction, engineering, energy and arbitration-related disputes since 2009, and also been involved in international and domestic arbitrations conducted under the KLRCA, UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC and PAM rules of arbitration. Darshendev works principally with Dato’ Nitin Nadkarni, who heads the Construction, Engineering & Arbitration Practice Group at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill.

Some of the arbitration-related matters that he has represented clients in include disputes arising out of building projects, power purchase agreements, fire insurance policies, alleged defective timber products, the failure of reclamation works, the construction of petrochemical facilities in Sudan, the destruction of petroleum shore tank facilities, the construction of a methanol petrochemical plant, the supply of telecommunication systems, the construction of transmission lines, and the construction of a hydro power plant.

Since 2012, Darshendev has been a member of the Bar Council’s Arbitration Sub-Committee and Sub-Committee on Construction Law. He is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the UK, and the current Vice Chairman of the Young Members Group, CIArb Malaysia.
