About Me
Having joined ZBV Abogados in 2009, Mr. Bustingorry became a Partner of the firm in 2013. Working with co-heads Carlos Ferrario and Karina Kucyk, he practices general corporate law focused on litigation, dispute resolution and arbitration.
Prior to his incorporation at ZBV, Mr. Bustingorry was part of Yanzón Sánchez, Solari & Asociados (2001-2009). He has a law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires (2000), and specializations from the same institution in Corporate Law (2005) and Bankruptcy Law (2006). He is currently a PhD candidate in Trade Law. In 2011 Mr. Bustingorry briefly left ZBV Abogados to become Clerk at the National Commercial Court for a year. Upon his return, he was made Partner of the firm.
The firm has a number of complex litigations under its realm, and the department has undergone significant growth since Mr. Bustingorry´s incorporation alongside Karina Kucyk. Assisting clients in the enforcement of foreign judgements and arbitral awards, the heads of department lead a well-regarded civil and commercial litigation team as well as arbitration of disputes. Mr. Bustingorry´s vast experience has allowed ZBV to be recognized for its long and proven tradition and expertise in Litigation, Mediation, and Arbitration. Mr. Bustingorry is also arbitrator at “Centro Empresarial de Mediación y Arbitraje (C.E.M.A.)” and he has been appointed in several times as arbitrator ad-hoc and in judicial proceedings.
Mr. Bustingorry is exceptional at teaching and holds several positions in diverse universities for several years:
• Professor, Commercial Law, Universidad del Museo Social Argentino (2013-2015)
• Professor, Postgraduate Course in Bankruptcy Law, Universidad Notarial Argentina (since 2009)
• Professor, Commercial Law, Universidad de Buenos Aires (since 2006)
• Professor, Comercial Law, Universidad Nacional de Posadas (since 2017)
Mr. Bustingorry has also written several papers and articles related with his specialization.
